Untamed Land Advice
Outdoor & Guest Space Planning
I help landowners plan and set up outdoor spaces — things like guest areas, glamping spots, outdoor kitchens, wash areas and simple off-grid setups.
If you’re trying to work out what to build, where to put it, or how simple it can actually be, this is practical, one-to-one support to help you make clear decisions before you start.

How it works
1. Initial call
15 minutes · free
We start with a short call to understand your land, what you’re considering, and where you want clarity.
This sets the focus for the working session and makes sure the time is used well.
2. Working session
60 minutes
We meet on a video call to look at maps, photos, or walk parts of the land together on video.
We work through layout, access, priorities, and practical options — so you leave with a clear direction and next steps.
3. Follow-up and next steps
Written summary
After the session, I’ll summarise the key points, options, and suggested next steps in a clear follow-up.
This gives you something concrete to refer back to as you move forward.

My background
I grew up around land, farms, and game shoots, working with domestic and farm animals from a young age and spending much of my time fixing, riding, or maintaining things — from motorbikes and horses to boats.
I went on to spend over 15 years working on boats, including the last 10 as a superyacht captain, where you quickly learn what works, what doesn’t, and why simple, reliable systems matter.
That background has given me a practical understanding of off-grid systems — whether they’re floating at sea or sitting on a mountainside — alongside hands-on experience with land, engines, and self-contained setups.
I’ve also spent years living and travelling in vans and remote locations, seeing many different ways people make simple outdoor spaces work. That experience shapes how I think about camp layouts, guest areas, outdoor kitchens, and low-impact infrastructure — always with a focus on what actually functions well day to day, rather than what just looks good on paper.
