About This Place
Mount 360 is a high mountain pitch on the south side of Picota, above Monchique. It has wide, open views across the Algarve coast, with the mountains behind and big skies all around.
The pitch sits within Quinta do Pisco, a large wild piece of land with forest, valleys and open ridgelines. It feels far from the busier Algarve, while still being within reach of the coast.
This is an exposed, dramatic setting, best suited to guests who want views, sunsets, stars and a quieter side of the Algarve. Walking trails cross the land, with natural sulphur springs hidden in the valley below.

Exploring
Guests can explore walking trails across the land, including a route down to natural sulphur springs in the valley below, reachable in around 15–20 minutes.
Nearby
The spa village of Caldas de Monchique is around a 10-minute drive, and the surrounding area offers hiking routes, mountain viewpoints and access to a nearby reservoir for swimming.
Stargazing
With very little light pollution, clear nights offer excellent stargazing and views of the night sky.

– Human waste must never be left behind. Use a portable toilet or a sealed waste bag and pack out all waste, including toilet paper and wipes.
– Do not cut or collect wood. Bring your own firewood if fires are allowed at this pitch.
– Fires are only allowed if this specific stay clearly states so. Never make new fire pits or burn directly on the ground.
– Keep noise low — these stays are for quiet, respectful travellers.
