Quinta da Matina is a small family-run walnut farm just outside Viana do Castelo, offering a peaceful place to stay beneath the trees. The camping area sits within the grove itself, with excellent natural shade during summer and a relaxed rural atmosphere.
The land is flat and easily reached by normal car, making it suitable for tents and vans. Depending on the season, guests can stay within the walnut grove or park in the courtyard.
On Saturdays, the farm sometimes hosts brunch and afternoon tea, which guests may be able to join subject to availability.
