About This Place
Quinta do Pisco is a large, wild and untouched piece of land set on the south side of Picota mountain in Monchique. With over 40 acres of forest, valleys and open ridgelines, it’s a place to properly disconnect and experience the Algarve from a different perspective.
Mount 360 sits at one of the highest points of the land, with uninterrupted views across the entire south coast and the mountains behind. It’s an exposed and dramatic setting, ideal for sunsets, stars and long, quiet evenings.
The land is rich in wildlife and crisscrossed with walking trails, including access to natural sulphur springs hidden in the valley below.

Guests can explore walking trails across the land, including a route down to natural sulphur springs in the valley below, reachable in around 15–20 minutes.
Nearby
The spa village of Caldas de Monchique is around a 10-minute drive, and the surrounding area offers hiking routes, mountain viewpoints and access to a nearby reservoir for swimming.
Stargazing
With very little light pollution, clear nights offer excellent stargazing and views of the night sky.
